Purple Heart and Gold Star recipients were honored at a special event on August 5th held at Avenue of the Flags in Buellton. This event was sponsored by the Cloverlane Foundation and Santa Ynez Community Outreach. The many veteran groups who were there offered their services and information about their organizations. In addition to the veteran groups, we had representatives from U.S. Bank who made a generous donation in support of the event. We thank everyone who came out to be with us on this beautiful day. We especially thank our veterans, their families and friends plus our men and women who are currently serving in the military.
